FOUND ON STREETPLAY'S DISCUSSION BOARD

By HONDA KING (runt) on Sunday, December 10, 2006 - 02:04 am:
Congrads to the new current champs Ray Lopez and Dave Rojas over their romp over Pee Wee and Willie in the finals and upset win over Rookie and Henry in the semis. In the semis the game was extended by Juan to 25 because Rookie kept whinning when Ray and Dave caught them and tied at 20. I've never seen Rookie cry so much.IMO he should have been presented with the crybaby award.Tyrone who started as ref was replaced by Joe who helps Juan run the tournaments here. RAY was phenomenal and probably has not played this good since he won the citywide 7 or eight years ago. He ran the last four or five points by himself rolling the ball out four or five in a row. Rookie's power could not stop Ray nor DAVE today who also played phenomenal but it was all RAY playing the left.
The final game took maybe 15, 20 mins tops. I believe final score was 25-8. Ray was on another planet today. Congrads to such a nice guy.

Updates from CPQ Doubles on 10/07/06

I'll be trying to provide the progress of today's tournament for viewers. The plan is to post images of the drawsheets by e-mailing them from my cameraphone.

If you'd like to see a larger version of the photo just click on it. This will take you to a Flickr website. Above the photo is an icon that reads "all sizes" (or something like that). Clicking on this icon will give the viewer the option of viewing a larger version of the photo.

If you see a file name like 0924061245.jpg that means the photo was taken on 09/24/06 at 1245pm.

You can simply disregard the 2 paragraphs that my cell phone company attaches to the post. I believe there is a way to automatically delete those statements but I right now I don't know how to do it.
